Mentoring on 4.16.18-

We watched a few brain pop videos in class about different authors and types of writing. The students were super interested in the videos and actually felt like they were learning something. The best part of watching the videos was doing the online quiz at the end. The teacher offered extra credit to those who participated. All the students got super competitive and very invested. They all answered correctly and some even explained their answers. I really like this idea for a fun day of teaching new information or even reviewing old information. Students were the most involved I had seen them all semester.
